连词在英文里叫conjunction。
连接词叫linker, linking devices等等。
连词有两种。一种是并列连词，譬如说so, but, or, and等。第二种连词是从属连词，譬如说because, while, since, as, although等等。
连接词很大一部分是副词，包括therefore, thus, however, nevertheless, then, moreover, besides等等。
还有一些是几个单词放在一起的词组，包括in contrast, by comparison, on the other hand, in addition, 等等。
