1. The Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional Chinese festival celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month.
My mother and grandmother would start making zongzi a day before the festival. I would assist them, though I ended up being more of a hindrance than a help.
After they completed the zongzi, they would cook them, a process that took a long time since I could only enjoy them the next day. The zongzi were delicious.

Every member of my family would come home for the solid meal. Chicken is an indispensable dish on the dinner table for Chinese traditional festivals.
There were many delicious foods that made my mouth water. I ate a lot of them. It is a wonderful festival.
