这应该是whether...or...引导的让步状语从句，
不管是他男友发现了julie mayer也好，或是她意识到根本不可能从他嘴里听到那迫切想听到的话也好，总之，karen 突然有一种抑制不住的冲动，她要大叫...啊....!
