A Happy Sunday
My parents and I got up very early last Sunday. We don't have much time for breakfast in the morning at workdays, but on Saturdays and Sundays we often have a big breakfast. After breakfast my parents took me to the Summer Palace. Some of their friends were already there. They took their kids, too.
We spent almost the whole day there. First we went boating on the lake. Then we sat under the trees and had our picnic. After lunch, we children went to fly kites and played balls on the lawn, while the parents fished by the lake or had a walk around the lake. We all had a wonderful time there.
