Dear John,
First of all, thank you for inviting me to attend your party to be held this weekend. I would like to accept your warm invitation but I can not due to my poor health.
As you know, the entrance exam is coming. I'm busy preparing with it.I want to do better in my study. I work hard day and night. However I‘ve got a bad cold. I'm not feeling very well. So I can't go to your party this weekend.
Anyway I feel sorry for disappointing you. Could you make it other time? How about next Weekend? Please write to me soon.

Hello John
First, thanks for your invitation to your party held in your home on this weekend. I would like to attend, but I am sorry I can't . For I have caught a cold in preparing for the college entrance exam. Now, my health is very bad. So I hope we can have another party and wish you have a good time on this party.

I'm so glad to hear that you've come back from aboard. I miss you so much, however, i have to say sorry as i cannot attend your party to be held on Sunday.
The college entrance eamination is coming. As you know, i want to be admitted to the university i'm dreaming of, so i'm making my greatest efforts to prepare for it day and night these days. Besides, I got a bad cold yesterday and the doctor advised me to have a good rest.
It's a great pity that i cannot see you this weekend, my friend. Can we make it another time? Is it convenient to you if we meet next Sunday?
