1、用括号中的词的适当形成填空。
1)所给词是动词,有以下几种可能性
A、用动词的谓语形成
e·g; Nowadays, many young people spend (spend) time playing computer games.
She seldom watches (watch) TV.
It is known (know) to all that the time we can use is limited.
B、用动词ing形成,不定或过去分词形成
e·g: In a word,we should form the good habit of saving (save) tine.
The wookers are made to work (work) 14 hours a day.
C、变为名词
e·g: To show my appreciation (appreciate), I decided to get her a present.
D、变为adj
e·g: It was not a forgettable (forget) sight.
2)所给词是adj,有以下几中可能
A、用比较级或最高级
e·g: The taller (tall) man is my history teacher.
B、变为副词
e·g: They talked merrily (merry) last mght
C、变为名词
e·g: There are a variety (various) of goods in the shop.
3)所给词是名词,有以下几种可能
A、变为adj or adv.
e·g: I'm very hungry (hunger).
They're listening to the teacher very carefully (care)
B、变为动词
e·g: Pollution endangers (danger) life on the earth.
2、无参考词的空
1)空格是名词时就要考虑填冠词)a/an/the, adj 物主代词(my, our, your. his……等)指示代词this/that/these//those, 不定代词 all other. both. few. little等等
e·g: On his way home, he picked up a wallet.
If two teams play a game, one time must lose.
2)反过来空前是冠词a/an/the,adj为主代词(my,your, our, their…),指示代词this/that/those/these,不定代词both/all/other/some…)时,就要考虑填名词。
e·g: We should make full use of our time to study hard in order to serve our country in the future .
Mr Sinith can speak a few foreign languages.
3)填介词
A、介词位于名词之前
e·g: They sat around a large table having dinner.
B、介词在及物动词后
e·g: I like listening to music while I am alone.
C、注意-es 固定搭配
e·g: be worried about, be interested in, be fond of, refer to . devote…to
4)填从属连词(名词性从句的连用,定语从句的连词,状语从句的连词)
A、定语从句的位置特征:名词+连词+从句
e·g: This is the picture that/which he drew in the park.
B、表语从句的位置特征:系动词+连词+从句
e·g: My question is how I can get so much money in such a short time.
C、宾语从句的位置特征:
e·g: Let's decide what we should do next.
He lived in what is called Lanhua Valley.
I agreed with what he said.
D、主语从句的位置特征:
e·g: What impressed me most was her kindness.
It is clear that nobody can help me. Who will go is not important.
5)填表示逻辑关系的副词(however, therefore, thus, though, while…)
e·g: The man was very wealthy. He was mean and never offer any help to the poor, though. The man was wealthy, he, however, was mean and never offer any help to the poor.
6)表示叙述者看法的副词(luckily, unfortunately. sadly等)
e·g: Sadly, we didn't finish the work on time.
Luckily, they arrived there before the film began.
7)填it 反身代词myself/yourself/himself等)
A、it通常替代上文中提到的一个“东西”,此外还表示时间,天气、距离、环境等。
e·g: It is colder. It is half past seven.
B、It is/was+被强调部分+that+其它
e·g: It was he who saved the girl.
C、Vt+it(形成宾语)+adj/n+动词不定式
e·g: I found it difficult to work out the maths problem in two minutes.

首先:从心理上,平心静气,不急不急噪 (对完形填空心存恐惧,是导致失误的根本原因,有些同学满脑子的畏难思想,殊不知这种情绪只会使得自己的全部思想游离题外,根本无法进入思维)
第一:浏览全文,把握大意
第二:运用语法理顺关系
语法知识是指导完形填空的法宝,词汇是根据语法规则确定各自的位置,有了语法规则文章才能有条不紊、顺理成章。完形填空题实际上是“形断意不断,貌离神不离”,正如藕断而丝连,语法规则起到“牵动荷花带出藕”的功效。如介词后的代词必然是宾格;物质名词一般不用复数;形容词必须放在不定代词后;行为动词的否定和疑问句应由助动词do构成;情态动词只能与不带to的动词连用;另外,语法还包括时态、语气、非谓语动词、关系代词和关系副词、分句、语态及惯用法等语法现象等。
a)时态:对完形填空中的时态题的判断,可以根据表示时间的信息词来判断,也可以根据上下文提供的信息来判断。表时间的词有:since, before, after, already, every since, for a long time, yesterday。
b)语气:大家认为困难的是对虚拟语气试题的判断。此类试题一般分两种情况,一种情况是带有表虚拟条件句或短句的词语在问题句中,如without,if等,另一种需要根据上下文或逻辑关系来判断。
c)非谓语动词:非谓语动词各自具有不同的语法功能和使用范围。分词作定语和表示原因、时间和伴随状语;不定式作定语和表示目的和结果状语。动名词可以做宾语、主语、表语或介词宾语。因此做非谓语动词的试题,要注意分析其在句中的语法作用,另外还要注意一些词的固定用法,牢固掌握必须跟动名词的动词和必须跟动词不定式的动词也是很必要的。
d)替代词:英语中替代词很多,既可以用来替代单词,也可以用来替代词组、短语或句子。常见的有do, so, one, ones, yours, theirs, this, that, those, he, it, they等。完形填空题借用其语篇优势,常设有此类题。我们做这类题时,要仔细分析句子的语义关系,搞清所替代的内容是什么。
e)词组、习语和习惯用法:对于这一类选择题,不能利用语法知识进行判断。因此平时的日积月累就十分重要。只有熟悉其意义和用法,才能准确迅速地做出判断。识别短语注意搭配一类短语是由动词+介词,或动词+副词构成,在现代英语中,这类词组很多而且实用性强、结构简练,使用灵活,表达生动,如break the ice,look forward to,keep an eye on,catch one’s eye等;还有一类使用极广的是介词短语,如with regard to,at the age of等。如果平时能注意词组、短语的整体记忆,掌握它们的搭配规律,在做完形填空时就能得心应手,减少失误,提高完形填空的命中率。
第三:遇到难词反复默念(如果还未填出,反复默念几遍,有些词就会悄然而至,在您的记忆中浮现出来。)
第四:注意上下连贯,合乎逻辑
这是从句子结构来考虑。(例如:一个空白在两个句子之间,就要根据上下文的语境和上下文的关系,选用并列连词and,but,or, however, there等)

① 在复习阶段:首先要熟练掌握学过的全部语法知识,牢记习惯用法, 特别是动词短语;注意对动词、名词、形容词、副词等词汇英语意义的真正理解,要懂得词汇的内含、外延、褒贬及一定的修辞色彩;注意他们的同义词、近义词、反义词及其辨析;其次要有计划地多做一些完形填空的练习,要有计划地多阅读一些短文,增强英文阅读能力, 提高理解能力。
②在应考阶段:拿到完形填空试题后, 不要急于动手去做,必须从语法、习惯用法、内容和常识等多方面综合考虑选项;既要理解文章材料所叙述的表层内容信息,又要理解文章材料中的连贯意义、引申意义等深层意义。
