Last Saturday, I went on an meaningful outing with my friends to the forest park near the town.
We started early in the moring so that we could avoid the heat. We first took the bus as far as we could,then we headed the forest on foot. It was a new challenge to us because we never went so far on foot and totally on our own, let alone the heavy backpacks !
Fortunately, we arrived the edge of the forest just before the sunrise. However, all of us felt exhausted when we reached the destination.
We had a short break and refreshed ourselves,then we moved on to the further side of the forest together. We were fully geared and prepared so that we would not get lost in the forest. We learned to use GPS to record our trails and we learned to use the trails to get back to the point where we started!
Moreover, we learned to cook and use the first-aid-kit. And we realized the importance of teamwork. We depended on each other and helped each other.
Everyone of us said that the forest adventure was really a meaningful outing on the weekend! We decided to try something new together in the future.
