mountain 是用in还是on?

我知道爬山是用on the mountain。在深山里用in the mountains。
但是“有一个瀑布在山上。”这句话要怎么翻？
瀑布是在山里，但只在一座山上，应该不能用in the mountains吧，可以用in the mountain吗？山上有花有树这些的又要用哪个呢？

我个人倾向用 on

而且大多数书面的东西都是用on 的

所以我建议你用on

mountain这种搭配.但如果是hill,in和on都可以用,前者是指在山里,后者指在山上.
