各位朋友我现在在背诵新概念英语第三册48课,以及正在学习新概念英语第四册21 22课文,遇见一些搞不懂的句子现在需要大家帮我解答下!（1）for they were not only of great architectural interest这句话是新概念第三册48课的,为什么这里of前面没有主语？？？第四册21课（2） William S. hart was, perhaps, the greatest of all Western stars这句话显然是形容词的最高级为什么greatest后面没有名词（3） It was Hart who created the basic formula of the Western film在课文中出现过两次It was 究竟在这里指什么？ basic formula为什么翻译成基调我所知道的formula大概就是公式 准则 配方的意思(4) devised the protagonist he played in every film he made这句话书中翻译为，即在他自己拍摄的影片中他所塑造的主人公的形象！！我想问的是所谓塑造的形象究竟是指他本人，还是指别人？？？（5） reality did join hands in at least one arena, the conflict between the individual and encroaching civilization.这句话中join hands in 已经是谓语了为什么还有 did还有the conflict前面没有be动词？？？（6） We still do; living in a world in which undeclared这句话如果不看翻译我还真不知道怎么理解，书上说的我们今天仍然有这种感觉，still do是仍然有感觉的意思吗？？do; living 之间这种;起什么作用啊！！（7）we all want a code to live by.
