欲要了解get in和get into的区别，首先应该知道in和into本身区别：
in和into同时作为介词带有“(向)里面”时，牛津词典中记录into内容如下：
到…里面；进入 - to a position in or inside sth.
Come into the house.进屋里来吧。
She dived into the water.她潜入水中。
He threw the letter into the fire.他把信扔进了炉火。
She turned and walked off into the night.她转过身去，走进黑夜里。
而in内容如下：
1. 在（某物的形体或范围）中；在…内；在…中 - within the shape of sth; surrounded by sth
She was lying in bed.她躺在床上。
sitting in an armchair坐在扶手椅里
Leave the key in the lock.把钥匙留在锁孔里。
Soak it in cold water.把这东西浸泡在冷水里。
2.(=into)进入 - into sth
He dipped his brush in the paint.他把毛刷在涂料里蘸了蘸。
She got in her car and drove off.她钻进汽车里，开走了。
综上不难看出，in在大多数情况表示静态的状态，而into表示一个进入的动作；
然而into和in已经可以换用，而且in的使用频率更高。
