Nowadays, many people choose snakes to be their pets. Some people support these behavours and hold that animals , including snakes, are humanbeing's friends, we should be frendly to them. However, some others argue that snakes are dangerous animals , we should keep away from them.
As far as i am concerned, i don't think it's a good idea for us to keep a snake as our pet. Because snakes can kill people if they are poisonous. As a survey said, there are 3,000 kinds of snakes in the world, while over 600 types are poisonous. In China, there exist over 50 kinds of poisonous snakes and one out ten can kill our humanbeings. To my surprise, every year, nearly 300,000 people are bitten by snakes and about 10% of them died at last.
All these facts indicates that snakes are dangerous animals and we should not keep them as pets.
