为什么电话用语要用speak to？

这是英语口语约定俗成的。比如有电话打进来，别人问：Can I speak to Mr.John?如果接到电话的是本人时，回复别人的时候也用speak:
---Speaking.
或者--This is he speaking.

如果不是电话用语呢？

追答

那就可以用talk to sb.但正如我上面所说，talk to sb.是偏重于把某事告诉某人，并不一定会得到对方的回答,具有“单向性”；而talk with sb.具有“双向性”，指双方之间的交谈。
