这是个美丽的小岛，一天，女孩露露被冲到岸上，暴风让她失忆了，她以为岛上的动物小熊猫萨奇，孔雀阿苏和大象宝宝提吉。就是她原本的朋友。王子安东尼奥航海到了岛上，被这位叫露露的女孩迷住了，想把她带回自己的皇宫，露露的两位动物朋友同意了，小象却不同意，但他们还是回到了皇宫。国王为王子安排了一位路易斯安娜公主作未婚妻，这位公主很善良、有教养，而且向往真爱，她也不喜欢这门婚事。可是她的妈妈想抢夺这个王国，还设计赶走露露，可是，露露为了自己心爱的王子和她的国家又回去了，帮助了王子，国王最终被感动，同意王子与露露结婚，在回到王宫的途中，露露想起了自己的原名——露茜娜并找到了自己的母亲——温柔而有礼仪的王后。在婚礼上，那位善良的公主也找到了合适的人。
露露是个很善良、勇敢、正直的女孩，她能翻译动物们的语言，这是我们常人不能办到的，也正因为这，露露和动物们成为了很好的朋友。虽然她生长在遥远的小岛，长期没有亲人，但她并没有因此而变得孤僻，相反，她却是非分明，有着一颗正义心，也正因如此，她才能够在关键时刻挺身而出，救了王子的国家，也找到了母亲。她爱的人王子是个爱好航海追求真爱的人，且善良，正直。
萨奇（又译为沙积）是个聪明的小动物，善解人意，而且有主见；阿苏很高傲，但又不失可爱，总说自己“有皇室血统”，向往着豪华生活；提吉是一头可爱的小象，但却想永远和露露在一起，所以不同意露露与王子的婚事，后来经露露的开导，也同意了。
而露易斯安娜公主的母亲是个野心家，一心想抢夺王国，内心肮脏，狠毒；而她的女儿却是一个有着是非观，爱读书，向往找到真爱的女孩，所以看到王子爱的不是她，而是露露时，就不同意与王子结婚了。
