In order to understand the performance of peanut shell active carbon decolorization ofdye wastewater, with phosphoric acid to produce activated carbon, the acid red dye wastewater as the research object, through the study of peanut shell active carbon dosage, pH, reaction temperature and reaction time four single factors, understanding of the peanut shell activated carbon for decolorization effect of acid scarlet, and on this basis, conditions were obtained by the orthogonal experiment of decolorization.The results show that, effects of solution pH and temperature on the adsorption effectis obvious, when the initial concentration was 100 mg/L, activated carbon dosage is 3G, solution of pH 2, adsorption time is 60 min, adsorption temperature is 50 ℃, the decolorization rate can reach more than 99%, out of the water the water qualityreached the national level "textile dyeing and finishing of industrial water pollutant discharge standard" (GB4287-1992). Thus, peanut shell active carbon has a good effect on the decolorization of dye wastewater, has practical significance to study on decolorization of dye wastewater of peanut shell active carbon.
