1、指代对象不同
who和whom都只能指人，而whose通常指人，也可指物。

2、在从句中所作成分不同
①who在从句中做主语。
例句：The

who
are
playing
football
are
from
Class
One.
在踢足球的男生们是一班的。
②whom在
定语从句中充当宾语，常可省略。
例句：

the
person
(whom)you
talked
about
on
the
bus.
刘老师就是那个你在公交车上交谈的人。
③whose在定语从句中做定语。
例句：He

a
doctor.

3、用法不同
当
关系代词指人且在从句中作宾语时，whom可以替换为who，而whose没有这个用法。
例句：He asked whom（who）
I'd told about his having been away
他问我把他曾离开的消息告诉过谁。
