Here is what a new student need to know
When you went to a new school, mostly you don’t know the rules. There are many rules in school that we must know.
First of all, your behavior must be good. For example, in America, if you don’t submit your homework on time, your grade will descend. I have this experience: once, I didn’t submit my homework that is important because i forgot, teacher in America won’t listen to your excuses! Your grade would change and decrease instantly! Furthermore, this will record in your future education. Even this can effect your life! Thus, do homework and submit it on time is particular and important. Also, you can’t throw trash on the ground. This will pollute the environment. If teacher see you, it maybe have some consequences. Additionally, Don’t be late at school. Once I’m late at school, teacher will mark you as tardy! This is not a good thing, this will effect your education. Lastly, don’t be disrespectful to teacher in class. This might give you bad consequence. Thus, having a good behavior is very important in school.
Secondary, quiz and assessments are not the most important thing in grade, a good grade involves your effort, your progress of improvement but also your homework. If you don’t show improvement and effort, even you got a good grade in every test, you won’t receive a good grade at all! However, test is important than coursework and grade sometimes involve more percentage in assessment and test than coursework and homework. Once, every coursework I got 100% and 90% in history, but the only one imported assessment I just did 6.67% because I forgot to do it, it just decrease your grade. If I didn’t fail that imported assessment, I was able to recieve a A! Thus, assessment is also important to your grade.
Lastly, the participation is also important. The participation involves a lot of percentage in your grade, especially in the physical education. Many activities worth a lot of percentages such as frizbee, soccer and running or other activity. Once, I didn’t participate some activities in fitness of physical education, I got F in fitness and B in participation! Thus, participation and passionate really involves you a lot in grade especially in physical education.
These are the basic rules and rubrics that new students must know and these really effect your grade and your learning.

With the development of science and technology, people's lives have been greatly changed. There is no doubt that we benefit a lot from the scientific advancements in many different ways. For instance, the invention of computers dramatically increases work efficiency and helps complete many difficult tasks that were impossible in the past. Apart from this, new discoveries and technology in medicine improve people's health, which allows them to enjoy a longer life. The progress of science also enlarges human's ablilities to explore the world around them, from up into space to deep under the sea. Thanks to the development of science and technology, human society has enjoyed continuous prosperity and more convenience. However, just like a double-edged sword, science can cause problems too. It is known to all that the nuclear power, an environmentally friendly source of energy, can also be developed into a weapon of mass destruction. In addition, human cloning, which is expected to cure many serious diseases and save lives, may bring disasters of social morality. As a matter of fact, most of the improvements in science are made at the cost of our precious natural resources and have done great harm to the environment where we live in. Therefore, how to deal with the progress of science and technology properly is worth our careful consideration.
