These signs are written in"Chinglish",the name given to the grammatically incorrect or misspelled English used by Chinese.Trying to avoid embarrassment,Shanghai has started a campaign to get rid of poor English grammar and incorrect vocabulary before next year's World Expo.
But Chinglish has fans.According to British newspaper the Guardian,there is a Facebook group and even a book on the subject.As foreigners point out,Chinglish can be fun.It's amusing,but it also gives them something to thing about.
