英语中more,much和much more的区别与用法

much、many意为“很多”是原级,且much+不可数名词、many+可数名词。

more和much的区别:

much是修饰不可数名词的,也可以修饰比较级,饰比较级时有“更”的意思,如much better更好;much bigger更大,more是不能修饰比较级的;

My car is more expensive than yours.(我的车比你的车更贵。)
She is more talented than her brother.(她比她的兄弟更有才华。)

The food is much better than I expected.(这食物比我预想的好多了。)
He speaks English much more fluently than I do.(他说英语比我流利多了。)
而"much more"则是"much"和"more"的组合,用于加强程度的表达,例如:

This book is much more interesting than the last one.(这本书比上一本有趣得多。)
She is much more beautiful than I remember.(她比我记忆中漂亮得多。)
