no… than 中 no 有形容词和副词两种词性，用法如下：

 

一、形容词

 

修饰名词表示“除了…不是别的”或“正是”，如：,

 

It was no other than my mother.  这正是我的母。。

He has no friends than you. 他除你以外没有别朋友。

 

二、副词

 

1、用在形容词、副词的比较等级前表示“不比…差不多与…一样不”或“”，如：

 

He is no wiser than you. 他不比你聪明多少。

I know you better than he (does). 我不比他更了解你。

 

2、经常用于no more than（只不过/无非）和 no less than（不亚于/多达）两种结构，如：

 

Death is no more than passing from one room into another. 死亡只不过是从一个房间进入另一个房间。

Three thousand dollars is no more than a fraction.  3000美元充其量只是一部分。

 

She's no less active than she used to be. 她和以往一样的活跃（他的活跃程度不亚于以往）。
