2006年秋季辽宁已经全面启动新课程改革，这对于每一名教师来说既是一次机遇，同时也是全新的考验。本文从新课程标准入手，对新课程标准理念下物理课堂教学模式的理念与实践进行探讨，阐述了新课标的基本理念、教学模式的基本概念和教学模式的分类；以人民教育出版社的高中物理教材为实体研究对象，参照现行教学大纲和课程标准，结合学校的教学实际条件，对启发式和自主式这两种教学模式进行了透彻分析和研究，并对物理教学模式的发展进行了展望。
