两道英语选择题

这两题考察的都是though/as引导的状语从句的倒装形式。

Though引导的状语从句有略微否定的意思，这种情况下，可以用倒装结构装表语和宾语提前。这种结构同样适用于as引导的否定义状语从句。所以：
much as 和 much though 其实是把much提到了as 和though的前面构成的倒装结构。

注意这种倒装的句子，不能用although引导（为了排除第二题选项B）

举例：
Though he is clever= clever as/though he is
Though he is a boy = boy as/though he is
Though he can eat much = much as/ though he can eat

Child as she is, she can speak 2 foreign languages. 尽管她是个孩子，她能说2门外语。
Brave as he was, he couldn't finish this difficult task. 尽管他很勇敢，可是他没能完成任务。
Try as he might, he failed at last. 尽管他试了，但仍然失败了。

再次强调一下，在倒装句中只能用as或though 引导；在陈述句语序中只能用although/ though引导，不可用as (排除第一题A，第二题C)

这样的倒装结构刚开始觉得别扭，但其实让人讲到句子时更明确其后要接转折的意味，平添一份文采。

理解了这些，这两题应该没什么难度了吧。

做这种题，知道是考倒装了，就把句子顺过来看。
第一题顺装：Though he likes her much, he...
第二题顺装：As he likes her much, he...

完全一个套路，万变不离其宗啊。

others 其他的人或物 ，泛指任何人或物 如：

D.the others 其他余下的人或物 如：
Lily has got many stamps. Two are from her brother. The others are from her parents.

C这道题的意思应该是"人们喜欢与志同道合的人为伴",差不多就是物以类聚,人以群分吧~others是泛指'那些人',在这里相当于"those"
