Contemporarily, employment of graduates in China is a matter of great importance that concerns social stability, economic and social sustainable development. The tough economy has worsened some students concerning for their career plans. But is the real triggering for high unemployment rate now? Doubtful ! Unfavorable economic situation can only be a only be a part of explanation for this phenomenon, but the qualification and correct attitudes of themselves and current exam-oriented education got involved. Many college graduates are not welcome by employers as they are trained under similar modes without any creative thinking and fear to take any responsibilities. There is an old saying goes in China’’ you can lead a horse to the river, but you can not make it drink.’’ Most of graduates complained that it’s impossible to find a job in the job-market, just for they cannot tolerate any hardship to begin their jobs as a starter-lower income, worse treatment, no welfare…those graduates who possess only degrees without any major-related experience and skills set their ideal jobs unachievable and unrealistic. Counterproductively, quite a few graduates chose to take graduate-entrance exams blindly to avoid the employment pressure for the time being, which resulted in a more embarrassing situation: the graduate mania. Ironically, it’s exerts an intensive pressure on our graduate education system simultaneously, which eventually will lead a vicious circle:new awkward future employment market.
