我能学好英语的事实是真的。用英语定语从句怎么说？怎么跟同位语区别？

定语从句是对被修饰词的限定，关系代词 that在从句中作主语或宾语；同位语从句是对前面抽象名词的具体说明，相当于汉语的“换言之/也就是说”，连词 that 只是语法符号，但不充当任何语法成分。

 

“我能学好英语的事实是真的”这句话最好用同位语从句翻译：

 

The fact that I can study English well is true.【正常语序，但是主语部分The fact that I can study English well长于谓语部分 is true】

True is the fact that I can study English well.【倒装语序，句子结构更为平衡】

The fact is true that I can study English well. 【同位语从句后置，句子结构显得平衡】

 

如果用定语从句翻译会显得十分拗口，也不太符合英语的表达习惯：

 

The fact that I can study English well in is true. 【that 是介词 in 的宾语，也可以用The fact in which I can study English well is true.】

Trueis the fact that I can study English well in.【倒装语序】

The fact is true that I can study English well. 【分隔定语从句】

同位语从句-语法区别
与定语从句的的语法区别： 1．意义的不同
同位语从句是用于说明所修饰名词的具体内容的，它与被修饰词语通常可以划等号；而定语从句是限制所修饰名词的，它的作用是将所修饰的名词与其他类似的东西区别开来：
We are glad at the news that he will come. 听到他要来这个消息我们很高兴。(news的内容就是that he will come，故that引导的是同位语从句)
We are glad at the news that he told us. 听到他告诉我们的这个消息我们很高兴。(that从句是限制the news的内容的，即我们高兴只是因为他告诉的这个news而不是其他的news，故that从句为定语从句)

The fact that I can learn English well. 我能学好英语的事实是真的

The fact that he told me was ture.

同位语从句的先行词虽然体现同位语从句的内容,但在同位语从句中并不充当成分。
