本课题是锭杆锭盘压配数字化自动生产线的一个子课题，该生产线采用先进的数控技术和液压传动技术相结合，利用锭杆、锭盘的自动选送料机构、机械手自动上下料和PLC控制来实现生产自动化，主要的设计内容有锭杆锭盘压配机及旋转工作台、锭盘自动选送料机构、锭杆自动上下料机构、锭杆锭盘选送料械手设计等四大部分的虚拟设计和运动模拟，本课题主要完成了锭盘自动选送料机构计算机辅助设计，并对其进行机构运动仿真和机电模拟控制研究。
主要完成了锭杆锭盘压配数字化自动生产线的总体设计、锭盘自动选送料机构具体结构设计及相关计算，并采用三维参数化造型软件Pro/Eengineer Wildfire 2.0实现了锭盘自动选送料机构的虚拟设计，圆满完成了任务书规定的工作量。
本设计是对四年所学知识的综合检验，CAD三维模拟仿真技术的引入使本方案的设计得到进一步优化，保证并提高了设计质量。本设计的完成对缩短锭子装配周期，有效降低生产劳动强度具有积极的意义，也为企业对现有设备进行自动化技术的改造提供了决策依据。
