Should Food Be Banned on the Subway?
Currently, some cities are considering food ban on subways, which has sparked heated discussion. Some people say food should be banned because of the trash and rats they attract. And, garbage from discarded food can cause track fires. Beyond sanitary and mechanical concems, food can also fuel fist fights, as was discovered last week by one passenger who criticized a woman eating steamed stuffed bun on the subway.
However, some others are opposed to the idea They argue that people like eating in the train in the moming because they don't have enough time to eat at their houses or restaurants. Sometimes that may be the only time or meal a transit rider may be able to eat especially when traveling long distances. Besides, there are people, for example diabetics, who do require food at various times to maintain blood-sugar levels.
Personally, I'm against the ban because of the huge inconvenience it would cause commuters, and the expense involved in enforcing it. Still, I believe we should have a little common courtesy. I think we all have responsibility to try to treat our subway system and fellow riders with respect, and that extends to food as well.

In learning of foreign language,some students ignore the development of their listening ability.they tend to think that listening practice is a waste of time,so they would rather do more reading to raise their language level.

In order to solve the conflict, both parents and children should pay their efforts. For one thing, parents should give their children rights to make their own decisions. They may help their children make choices instead of replacing them to make choices. For another, children should learn to respect their parents’ advices since parents tend to have more life experience. Besides, to communicate with each other actively is necessary to their understanding each other. As long as both parents and children learn to think from the other side’s point of view, the conflicts between them can be avoided.

Who you see is who you'll be. Losers live life from the outside in, while winners live life from the inside out. Everything ever achieved was first seen in someone's mind. Get a clear vision of what you will be like when you have achieved your goal. See the colors and the surroundings in your mind's eye.
