1. Teaching people how to get good jobs is not the answer. Why would your parents invest so much money to educate you to go out and get a job when you can have your own business? You could start into a lot of business for less money than the biggest and the most prestigious colleges charge students to attend one year.
A job…I had one once. Is this what a job means? I get up in the morning, go to work, get time off for lunch, go to work, come home, back and forth, back and forth. Get a two-week vacation, go visit relatives and friends. That’s life? Get to be a rut. What’s the difference between a rut and a grave? Ruts have the ends knocked out. If you do not have a dream, you’re in the grave already. At least I’ve got a “good” job. The only good job you can have is working for yourself when you own the company. People come and say, “well, I’ve got a good job.” I do not know what a good job is. I do not know of a good job you cannot get fired from. I did not want to come home someday and tell my wife and kids, “ they got rid of me. ” I had seen too many companies close. I had seen too many situations happen. I knew owning your own business was the only way it didn’t matter; the freedom was worth the struggle. It was better to know what was going on because I was the owner, than wondering what was going on because I was an employee.
