例：She hurried to the kitchen in back of the store.

2.in the back of
在…后面（只在某一范围内）
例：I sat in the back of the taxi with my son on my knee.
我坐在出租车后排座上，儿子坐在我腿上。

注：在美国英语中如果是在“某个范围之外”，只用 in back of 来表示“在...后面”。
