In this paper, using potassium permanganate and molybdate as film oxidation agent, on the aluminum alloy non-chromium passivation, analyzed the effect of passivation film quality and corrosion resistance of passivating film, electrochemical behavior and passivation membrane surface was analyzed.
Through the single factor analysis method, molybdate concentration, potassium permanganate concentration, sodium fluoride concentration, pH, temperature, time of the passivation film quality and the influence of appearance, by neutral salt spray test, are studied various factors on corrosion resistance of passivating film, and to determine the optimal process parameters. The passivation film is obviously improves the corrosion resistance of aluminum alloy.
The polarization curve of the aluminum alloy passivation film on the electrochemical behavior of3.5% NaCl, the results show that the passivation of aluminum alloy after specimen corrosion potential than those in passivation of aluminum alloy plate has a positive shift, due to the presence of membrane, so that the anode polarization curves of low current density branch to move in the direction of. Description of passivation film on aluminum alloy corrosion mainly inhibited the anodic reaction, thereby improving the corrosion resistance of aluminum alloy.
By means of the optical microscope, the passivation film surface microscopic analysis, the results show that, without the passivation of aluminum alloy surface was rough shape, the passivation of aluminum alloy after surface covered with a layer of uniform yellow conversion film. Observation without passivation of aluminum alloy and passivation of aluminum alloy surface corrosion found, not passivated aluminum alloy plate surface showed a large pit corrosion, and passivation of aluminum alloy after only a small amount of sample surface pitting, indicating passivation membrane improves the corrosion resistance of aluminum alloy.
