首先介绍一下基本理论：
a. 除“第一”、“第二”、“第三”之外，其他
序数词都以在
基数词后加词尾th构成，其中有些词在拼法上有少许变化，如：
fifth eighth ninth twelfth twentieth等
b. 两位数的词，只需把个位数变为序数词：
第二十二 twenty-second 第三十一 thirty-first
第七十八 seventy-eighth 第九十三 ninety-third
c. 三位以上的词，只把最后的两位数变为序数词：
第一百五十 one hundred and fiftieth
第九百九十九 nine hundred and ninety-ninth
此外，first，second等词常缩写为1st，2nd，3rd，20th，21st等。
非整十的序数词
非整十的多位数，将个位数变成序数词即可。如：twenty-first(第21)，thirty-sixth(第36)，ninety-ninth(第99)，three hundred and sixty-fifth(第365)等。
hundred, thousand, million 等的序数词
hundred, thousand, million 等序数词形式为 hundredth, thousandth, millionth 等。如：
five hundredth (500th) 第500
ten thousandth (10000th) 第10000
【注意】
这类词前用数字“一”时，这个“一”只用one，不用a。如：
one hundredth 第100(不说a hundredth)
所以，第101 、第1000、第1004分别读作：
one hundred and first
one thousandth
one thousand and fourth
