实践证明,凡是生动、具体形象的事物,形成新颖、色彩鲜艳对象,都极易引起学生的兴趣和注意力。首先,现代化的电教设备为激发学生的兴趣提供了较为理想的优越条件,它可以使学习的事物或现象大小互变、动静交错,能把抽象的概念具体化把复杂的内容条理化;同时它又集音、行、义为一体,使学生在较短的时间内获得清晰、准确、生动的认识,充分调动学生的眼、耳、口、手、脑等器官,使机械呆板紧张的学习过程变得轻松愉快。其次,运用形象逼真的挂图或简笔画配合配合讲解,不仅能激发学生学习的兴趣,而且看起来清楚、听起来明白,记起来深刻。
著名科学家爱因斯坦说过,“兴趣是最好的老师”。学生没有兴趣,英语是不可能学好的,通过教学经验,我深刻地体会到:要使学生产生浓厚的学习兴趣,教师就不能一蹴而就,而应发挥主观能动性运用多种形式,持之以恒地不断创造出生动有趣的教学情景使使学生的兴趣犹如“源头活水滚滚来”。为此,我们要把培养学生的学习兴趣贯穿于教学的始终,不断激发培养和巩固学生的学习兴趣努力提高学生的学习主动性和积极性全方位提高英语教学的质量。
