【Abstract】Chinglish frequently appears in the process of English studying. However, Chinglish can be avoided or reduced to the minimum if we use some good ways and work hard. 【Key words】Chinglish；authentic English 1.Introduction Chinglish is the most popular phenomenon among Chinese English learners. Chinglish means non-standard English, which is inconsistent with English culture and conventions, because English learners and users in China misuse some Chinese rules and conventions in English. As the process of the global economic integration is being accelerated and the knowledge-based economy is coming up, we are confronted with new challenges of English proficiency. In this sense, it is reasonable for the learners to avoid and reduce Chinglish. . Conclusion Some teachers and educators in China argue that Chinglish is somehow bearable to our students considering the reality in our English learning environment. However, to my understanding, it is unacceptable unless writing should be taught in the "right" way. The purpose of this article is not only to show some typical examples of Chinglish but to kick off a controversial discussion on how to adjust the Chinese mind to the English way of thinking and writing.
